COCKBURN RANGES WITH FIRES
Aerial prescribed burning has started in the East Kimberley. Since being in the Kimberley for 13 years I swear I am witnessing the acceleration of thinning out of trees and native vegetation in the landscape due to the ridiculous frequency of fires. I use a lot of my images as documentation of what the effects of fires are having on the landscape. It's great to see this year the guys are doing a very early season burn. In the past we have had fires being deliberately lit as late as August which is absolutely insanity! Ok, I'm starting to rant now, I hope you enjoy this image of the Cockburn Ranges.
