KEEP RIVER PANORAMIC
Welcome to one of my happy places when camping. The Keep River is nestled in the far west of the Northern Territory and runs through the Keep River National Park.
This image showcases a section of the river's natural rock bar. The rock bar stands as a testament to the interplay between the land, monsoonal rains and the tides. Here you can witness the ebb and flow of the river's governance by the tides, as they gracefully surge over the rock bar during high tides, adding a touch of dynamic allure to the location especially when the barra are biting.
Many people here have slipped on their arses while trying to negotiate the slippery muddy terrain of mud and silt when throwing a cast night on the hunt for schools of mullet for live bait. I can almost hear the moans and groans while looking at this image…lol.
