After living in Kununurra for 12 years this was the first time visiting this location and I had my circuits blown. I was overjoyed with excitement to finally be here. Despite the challenging hike to the top to find the pool, the view was well worth the effort. On arrival at the top pool we were welcomed with heavy rain for half an hour, so it was really exciting to watch the volume of water grow before our eyes.

While photography is often a solo experience, I was so glad to have shared this unforgettable moment with a good friend.
