VIEW FROM A CAVE, LAKE ARGYLE
The view from this little cave overlooking Lake Argyle is awesome, but was quite challenging setting up the camera and tripod to get this shot. However, 20 minutes after sitting awkwardly in the cave, unknown to me, a fast approaching mother of all thunderstorms was inbound, sending me running for my life to get back to the car. Despite the danger, the experience of being caught in a thunderstorm added an exciting edge to the day’s adventure. An hour later, while driving along Lake Argyle road back home, I witnessed a lightning show that was nothing short of spectacular, becoming one of my favorite memories in photography.
